The Mission

To permanently preserve and protect the tranquil and treasured Red Rocks, in the middle of Arrowhead Golf course, within the Roxborough Park residential community by purchasing and placing the property into a Conservation Easement.

  2. Develop relationships and gather intelligence from third parties about conservation easements, landowner objectives, ARCIS (owner of Arrowhead) objectives, and Douglas County Commissioners.

Objectives

  2. Partner with Roxborough Park Foundation HOA management and board to work together on impacts and solutions.

  3. Plan and execute a fundraising campaign to purchase the property and place it into a Conservation Easement with management by a Land Trust organization should the landowners be unwilling to place the property into an easement on their own.

  4. Develop a relationship with the broker and existing homeowners of an option to place the property into a Conservation Easement for which they could gain tax benefits equal to revenue gains if they sell to another entity.
