May 2024 Update
Updates on Pomeroy owned parcel - “The Homestead”
As we previously reported in January, the Homestead property was sold for $3.5 million to Arrowhead Colorado Propco, LLC (ACP) which has the same Canadian address as Pomeroy Lodging.
In early February, ACP filed a lawsuit against Roxborough Park Foundation (RPF) and Douglas County.
RPF filed their response to this lawsuit on April 5, 2024.
There is no Public Hearing currently scheduled by Douglas County to address Pomeroy’s submittal to change the land use of the Homestead parcel from residential to club resort.
In early April 2024 the Northwest Douglas County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) was formed.
This is a merger of the DC Chamber of Commerce and the DC Economic Collaborative. Link to that press release below:
Ryan Laurie, VP of Asset Management for Pomeroy Lodging, is on the board of the DCEDC. The cost to become a board member of this organization is a minimum of $7,800. Link to the Board of Directors and membership details below:
Save Our Rox continues to be vigilant in their mission to stop any development on this property.
Since fire mitigation and management is so critical to our community, and because it is a key issue as to why we fear additional commercial or mult-residental development, we are extending this information to you as Save Our Rox members in an effort to get the word out about this important event.
